Ramu’s family: The night without a roof

Problem: In a remote tribal village of Jharkhand, Ramu lived with his wife and two children under a torn plastic sheet. During monsoons, rain poured directly onto them. His daughter asked, “Baba, will our house fall today?”
How we helped: Asha Vatsalya Foundation reached their village and took immediate action. With local materials and community help, they built a safe mud house for Ramu’s family.
